Spring before dandelions
The happiest spring time is “before dandelions”. It’s just the very beginning of summer. Rombic is chasing a huge bumblebee on our veranda. Lots of new summer birds appear in the neighbourhood, make nests and have a very busy life on tops of trees and roofs. Always hungry in winter pigeons turn into lazy cooing creatures bathing in shiny spring puddles and not bothering to pick up bread crumbles which you offer them. Young green grass is making its way up to the sun through the cover of old brown dry leaves. Trees are waving their brunches with tiny leaf buds. One more week and everything turns into “greenish haze”.
I am absolutely happy at this time of a year. My happiness is a piece of eternity – I have all the TIME, millions and millions of years ahead of me… I remember being a funny three-year-old girl who was sitting in a sandbox on early sunny morning like this one, picking sand, watching ants work hard, and having plenty of time before Granny makes lunch and tells to come and eat. I know I have the same plenty of time before I am the same funny little girl at the same sandbox… watching the same ants at work… on the same sunny spring day.
It’s so great to be here and now… :) in spring “before dandelions”
